Michael Rapp

Mr. Rapp has over seventeen years of industry experience. He has worked at Prudential Securities and PaineWebber as a Senior Vice President of Investments/Chairmans Council Member, where he managed money for private clients. He was also the Managing Director and founder of Oscar Gruss and Son Incorporated's private client group. Mr. Rapp is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.



Philip Wagenheim
Vice Chairman

Mr. Wagenheim has over sixteen years of industry experience. He has worked at Prudential Securities and PaineWebber, where he managed money for private clients. He was also the Managing Director and founder of Oscar Gruss and Son Incorporated's private client group.
Mr. Wagenheim has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami.


Clifford W. Chapman
Managing Director/Head of Investment Banking

Clifford Chapman has served as head of Investment Banking at BCM since September 2005 where he is responsible for the banking, structuring, and due diligence for all of BCM’s transactions.  Since January 2001, Mr. Chapman has been the Managing Director of Early Stage Associates LLC, a consulting company focused on helping businesses in capital formation and executive management.  From January 2001 to the present he has also served as the Managing Director of ChapRoc Capital LLC, a company which invests in technology and business services companies.  From June 2002 until March 2004 he served as Chief Executive Officer for Mindshift Technologies Inc., a managed services provider focused on IT outsourcing for small and medium enterprises.  He presently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Catuity, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTTY). Mr. Chapman received a Masters of Business Administration with Honors from Columbia Business School and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University.



T. Corby Hocker
Managing Director Investment Banking

Mr. Hocker joined Broadband in March 2007 and is primarily responsible for the execution of the firm’s transactions.  Prior to joining Broadband, Mr. Hocker was a Director in Morgan Joseph & Co. Inc.’s mergers and acquisitions group and was one of the original team members that started the firm in 2001.  Prior to Morgan Joseph, he was a Vice President at ING Barings and Brenner Securities Corporation where, in each case, he was a member of the generalist mergers and acquisitions group.  He began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert.  He has been involved with transactions in excess of $3 billion during this time.  These include sell-side advisory, fairness opinions, IPOs and private placements of debt and equity across a wide range of industries.  Mr. Hocker received a BS in Finance from Bentley College.

 



Jeffrey Appel
Managing Director

Mr. Appel joined Broadband in April 2007 and is focused on new business origination and distribution. Prior to joining Broadband he was a Managing Director at Merriman Curhan Ford heading their Specialty Products Group. Mr.Appel has completed 17 blank check transactions as either lead or co-manager prior to joining Broadband. Mr. Appel was General Partner/Managing Member of Aeolus Capital, an opportunistic hedge fund specializing in small-cap equities.Prior to forming the hedge fund, Mr. Appel was an institutional salesman at several firms including: Vector Securities, Oppenheimer &Co., Salomon Brothers, and C.J. Lawrence. Mr. Appel began his career as a Corporate Finance banker with Thomson McKinnon Healthcare Securities,Inc.  Mr. Appel received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
